ABOUT LILY STOCKMAN

American painter and visual artist who is recognized for co-founding the textile business Block Shop Textiles. In 2016, she curated a solo art exhibition entitled Pollinator at the Los Angeles based gallery Gavlak.

She studied pigment and Mughal miniature painting in India.

In 2013, she was the recipient of the Samuel Eshborn Award.

She is the sister of textile designer Hopie Stockman.

She and fellow artist Monty Oum were born in Rhode Island.
