The first time she took photography courses was in school when she was 16. She was inspired by her father who took lots of pictures of the family.

Her work tends to capture the mundane and beautiful things in life. There is a strong sexual undercurrent to her work with many of her nudes being very intimate details about her own life.

She is from Vanerborg, Sweden, but lives in London. She grew up with her parents and a younger brother.

She has admired the work of photographer Nan Goldin for years. In an Instagram post, she said that she went to see a documentary about her life called All the Beauty and the Bloodshed.
