ABOUT LIZA WANG
Actress and presenter from Hong Kong who is known under the stage name "The Big Sister". She is recognized for her award-winning television performances including in the series' Limelight Years, The Awakening Story, and At the Threshold of an Era II.
She attended acting school at the Rediffusion Hong Kong Artist Academy in 1967 and was one of the first to graduate from the academy. She then started her career in television that same year, making her feature film debut later on in the 1974 feature Eternal Spring.
She is also known for her political presence and was a delegate in the National People's Congress from 1988 until 1997 and was also a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
While she was born in Shanghai, China, she moved to Hong Kong where she was raised. She married fellow actor Law Kar-ying in May of 2009.
She performed alongside singer Miriam Yeung at the Tin Shui Wai free concert for its 4500 residents.
