ABOUT LOGAN DAY

American hockey player best known for playing as a right-hand defenseman in the KHL for Traktor Chelyabinsk after enjoying a successful career within the AHL. While playing for the Hershey Bears, he became a two-time Calder Cup champion.

He played for four varsity seasons throughout high school and junior hockey before he joined the Providence College Friars and scored his first collegiate goal on October 12, 2014. In 2018, he signed an amateur tryout with the AHL's Bakersfield Condors.

In the 2018-19 season, while playing for the AHL's Bakersfield Condors, he led all the team's defensemen in scoring, which set a rookie record for blueliners. In the 2023 Calder Cup playoffs, he ranked #2 among the AHL defensemen with 14 points, helping the Hershey Bears win back-to-back titles.

He and his younger sister, Jordan, were born to parents Andy and Dawn Day. His mother, Dawn, played collegiate softball at Coastal Carolina.
