ABOUT LOPON TSECHU

Religious sophisticate and master of Tibetan Buddhism who is most famous for his teachings and fervent following.

When he was a young boy, he was ordained as a monk in Bhutan's largest monastery.

He built many stupas -- or statues of Buddha -- all over the globe. In fact, the one he erected in Spain is 108 feet tall and at the time was the largest one in the Western world.

He was born in Bhutan.

He was one of the earliest proponents of Tibetan Buddhism, which Jet Li practiced as a young boy.
