ABOUT LORI CHALUPNY
Midfielder who began her long tenure with the U.S. women's soccer team in 2001. She helped the team win a gold medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing and was a member of the 2015 World Cup Championship team.
She played college soccer at the University of North Carolina from 2002 to 2005.
She debuted professionally with Saint Louis Athletica in 2009.
She was born in St. Louis, Missouri.
She and Becky Sauerbrunn became teammates on the U.S. women's soccer team.
