ABOUT LOUISE HAZEL
Renowned athlete known for specializing in the heptathlon, which includes a variety of disciplines including hurdling, javelin throwing and shot putting. She won a gold medal representing England at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
She earned a Bachelor's degree in French from the University of Birmingham.
She announced her retirement from the heptathlon in 2013 but attempted a comeback in 2014. Sadly, her comeback was eventually called off after she was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis.
She has dated Oscar-nominated actor Michael Fassbender .
She and Jessica Ennis-Hill are two of the most widely-known athletes to have competed in women's heptathlon.
