ABOUT LOUIS JOSEPH VANCE
An American novelist, he is famous for creating The Lone Wolf character, who appeared in eight books, twenty-four films, and numerous radio and television programs.
He was born in Washington, D.C., and he later studied at the Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute.
He was found dead inside his New York apartment after his cigarette ignited his armchair.
He and his wife had one son together.
He and George Harris both traveled to the West Indies.
