Attacking midfielder who made his professional debut in 2001 for Gimnasia and went on to become captain of the Tigres de la UANL and one of the best players in the Liga MX.

He grew up playing soccer in La Plata, Argentina.

He is known for his technical skills, free kicks, and leadership.

He has three children: Mateo, Lucia, and Lola.

Midfielder Diego Armando Maradona was also an Argentine soccer player.
