ABOUT LUCAS WILLIAMS

Professional left fielder that was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies during the third round of the 2015 Major League Draft. He was later acquired by the Miami Marlins via trade in May 2022. He has also played in the San Francisco Giants minor league farm system.

He was drafted out of Dana Hills High School in Dana Point, California. While there, he played baseball, football and ran track.

He made his official major league debut playing against the Atlanta Braves on June 8, 2021 as a member of the Phillies. He recorded a base hit in his only at-bat.

Although he was born in Park Ridge, Illinios he grew up living with his family in Dana Point, California. He is one of four siblings.

He recorded his first MLB hit facing Drew Smyly .
