She earned a Golden Globe nomination for her outstanding supporting performance in The Jazz Singer. Her portrayal of Sonia Walsk in They're Playing Our Song earned her the Theatre World Award.
She had her first acting role on I Love Lucy at age six.
She played Kim Carter on her mother's show Here's Lucy from 1968 to 1974.
She had three children named Katharine, Joseph and Simon with her second husband, Laurence Luckinbill , whom she married in 1980. She was previously married to Phil Vandervort from 1971 to 1977.
She is the daughter of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz .
