ABOUT LUCY COOKE

Nicknamed the new David Attenborough , she is a zoologist and filmmaker known for presenting numerous primetime series in the UK and for publishing books like A Little Book of Sloth, The Truth about Animals, and The Unexpected Truth About Animals.

She loved nature even as a child and would go on to be accepted into the zoology program at Oxford University. It was there that she fell into the world of comedy and television and began working on projects like The Fast Show and The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer.

She has appeared in numerous nature documentaries including Talk to the Animals, Easter Eggs Live, Amazing Animal Births, and more.

She has one daughter, whom she has posted photos of to Instagram.

She was tutored by the illustrious Richard Dawkins while studying at Oxford University.
