ABOUT LUIS URIAS

Professional infielder that was signed by the San Diego Padres as an international free agent in 2013. He was acquired by the Milwaukee Brewers via trade in November 2019.

He began his professional career playing for the Padres' rookie affiliate team the DSL Padres.

He made his major league debut playing against the Seattle Mariners on August 28, 2018 as a member of the Padres.

He is a native of Magdalena de Kino, Sonora, Mexico. His brother Ramón Urías is also a professional baseball player.

Growing up, he credited Dustin Pedroia as being one of his biggest baseball influences.
