ABOUT LUIZ ROBERTO ALVES
Forward commonly known as Sassá who became a star during his years with Botafogo, winning Carioca Championship, Guanabara Cup and Rio Cup titles. He spent six professional years with the club before joining Cruzeiro in 2017.
He debuted with Botafogo's youth squad in 2009 and made his professional debut in 2012.
He was Botafogo's top goalscorer in 2016.
He has sisters named Renata and Roberta. His father José Alves was also a professional soccer player.
He won titles alongside goalkeeper Jefferson at Botafogo.
