ABOUT LUPE PINTOR
Nicknamed "The Indian From Cuajimalpa", he was a WBC Bantamweight and Super Bantamweight Champion.
His first match came in 1974 with a second-round knockout of Manual Vazquez.
He was named The Ring magazine Comeback Fighter of the Year for 1985.
He had a very violent relationship with his father, causing him to run away from home.
He was succeeded as WBC Bantamweight Champion by Alberto Davila in 1982.
