Model turned telenovela star who has become most widely known for her recurring roles in Hasta que el dinero nos separe, Libre para amarte, and La escuelita VIP. She is also a successful presenter, working for Siempre en domingo and Al ritmo de la noche, amongst others.

She first rose to fame in 1994 as the winner of Nuestra Belleza Jalisco. It was with this title that she earned her spot in the Nuestra Belleza México competition.

In 2004, she appeared on the reality series Big Brother VIP 3.

She married Bernardo Martínez in 2009 and the pair now have two children, Santiago and María José.

Her cousin, Susana Gonzalez , is also a well known telenovela star.
