Professional center-back that was signed by the Southampton FC of the English Premier League in 2021. He has also made appearances as a member of the Brazilian national teams.

He began his youth soccer career playing for the Botafogo Sports Club in Rio de Janeiro.

He appeared in his first career professional match as a member of the São Paulo Football Club. He entered the game as a substitute during a 2-1 win.

He was born of Brazilian and Serbian descent.

He played alongside Theo Walcott as a member of Southampton during the 2021 EPL season.
