She studied at Newnham College at the University of Cambridge . While at university, she met her husband at a theatre performance.
In 2019 and 2021, she acted in the movies Souvenir and Souvenir II.
She is the daughter of actor James Fox and his wife, Mary. She has four brothers, one of whom is actor Laurence Fox . In September 2007, she married the actor, comedian, writer, and director Richard Ayoade.
In 2010, she acted alongside Craig Roberts in the film Submarine.
