ABOUT LYLE FOSTER

South African professional soccer player known for playing as a forward for Premier League club Burnley and the South Africa national team. He has played with over 5 clubs throughout his ongoing senior career.

He played for the Orlando Pirates FC as a youth player. He made his professional debut in the South African Championship in 2017. He signed for AS Monaco in January 2019 and played with them until 2023 when he was recruited to join Burnley FC.

He needed to take some time off playing in the fall of 2023 because adjusting to England from South Africa proved to be challenging.

He was born and raised in Soweto, South Africa. His cousin is the soccer player Luther Singh.

He has played alongside Aaron Ramsey and Connor Roberts as part of the Burnley FC team.
