ABOUT LYNNE SHARON SCHWARTZ
The American author of The Emergence of Memory: Conversations With W.G. Sebald, she is especially known for her works of poetry and literary criticism.
She taught in the writing programs at Bryn Mawr College, Columbia University, and the University of Michigan.
Many of her novels are set in New York City.
She and her husband Harry became parents to two daughters.
She taught at the Iowa Writers' Workshop, where Harvey Swados was once a student.
