ABOUT M.J. STEWART

NFL defensive back that was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a second round pick in 2018. After two seasons with Tampa Bay, he was then released and claimed off waivers by the Cleveland Browns during the 2020 season. He was later signed by the Houston Texans in March 2022.

Prior to being drafted, he played college football at the University of North Carolina . Following his 2017 season, he was named to the second team All-ACC.

He made his NFL debut playing against the New Orleans Saints during week one of the 2018 regular season. He recorded four tackles in a 48-40 victory.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Arlington, Virginia.

He caught his first career NFL interception on a pass from Ryan Tannehill .
