ABOUT MAIRIS BRIEDIS

Men's heavyweight and cruiserweight title boxer also known as The Latvian Punisher. During his professional boxing career, he won three Latvian National Championships heavyweight titles. In 2022, he was named the third-best cruiserweight boxer in the world.

Prior to his professional boxing career, he worked as a police officer. He would eventually begin his professional fighting career in 2009.

In 2017, he won his first WBC cruiserweight title bout after defeating Marco Huck. In fact, he is actually the first Latvian ever to win a WBC title.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Riga, Latvia. He now lives with his wife, Jūlija, and their family.

He is a professional boxer just like Shakur Stevenson and Ryan Garcia .
