ABOUT MALICK THIAW

Professional center-back that was originally signed by FC Schalke 04 in 2020. After two seasons, he then joined AC Milan on a multi-year deal during the 2022 Serie A club season.

He first began playing soccer with the TV Kalkum-Wittlaer youth club in 2006. He was only five years old at the time.

He made his professional club debut while playing against TSG Hoffenheim during the 2020 season. That March 7, 2020 Bundesliga match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Düsseldorf, Germany. He was born of Finnish and Senegalese descent.

He played alongside Davide Calabria as a member of AC Milan during the 2023 Serie A season.
