Professional wrestler who is known as Lita Marez or the Latin Hellcat who was known for her signature moves called The Rocker and The Boston Crab.
Born and raised in Eagle Pass, Texas, she decided to respond to an ad in one of the wrestling programs for Mildred Burke School Of Professional Wrestling in Reseda where she went on to train professionally before starting her career.
On February 22 of 1967, Marez along with five other professional female wrestlers made history by fighting in the first ever Battle Royal at the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.
She was inspired to start wrestling because of her grandfather Jose and her father John's interest in the sport.
As a professional female wrestler, she can be seen as leading the way for modern wrestlers including Chyna , Trish Stratus , Mickie James , and Gail Kim .
