Finalist on the 9th season of NBC's America's Got Talent , who continued her singing career after the show by practicing with acclaimed vocal coach Sal Dupree. She went on to become a finalist on season 16 of American Idol .

She was 11 years old when she auditioned for America's Got Talent.

She often dedicates her performances to her late grandmother.

She has a sister Jacey Marie who is also a singer. She is the fourth of five siblings.

Mel B , Howard Stern , Heidi Klum , and Howie Mandel were the judges she faced on America's Got Talent.
