American actor and comedian, best known for his role as Skippy on the series Family Ties . He hosted and acted on various shows in his career, and in the late 2000's began writing and producing for major networks.

He began his professional career in 1982.

He has appeared on Last Comic Standing . In 2017, he appeared in a comedy show called Farley and Skippy alongside Chris Farley 's brother Kevin Farley .

He is the son of comedian Al Bernie and singer Joy Mann.

He has acted alongside Kevin Dillon and John Astin . He has made appearance on Fox Sports Live with Jay Onrait and Dan O'Toole .
