ABOUT MARCIO AMOROSO

Brazilian sports commentator and former professional soccer player who rose to fame as a member of Guarani FC. He later became a top scorer for Serie A club Udinese. At the international level, he represented Brazil in the 1999 Copa América.

He started his youth career with Guarani FC in 1988.

He won the Bola de Ouro and Bola de Prata in 1994. He was a 2005 FIFA Club World Championship top scorer. He has earned over 850,000 followers on Instagram as a result of his soccer fame.

He has a daughter named Isabela.

He and Oliver Bierhoff played together as teammates for Udinese.
