ABOUT MARGARITA FORES

Filipino chef best known for specializing in Italian cuisine. She was named Asia's Best Female Chef in 2016 and is the owner of the restaurant and catering chain Cibo.

After earning a degree in accounting, she began working as a trainee at Axona Holdings. It was there she began experimenting in cooking.

Outside of managing the Cibo chain, she also owns the restaurants Lusso, Grace Park and Alta.

She twice overcame bouts of thyroid cancer. She has one son.

In 2016, she guest starred on an episode of Inspired With Anna Olson .
