Mari Wingard

ABOUT MARI WINGARD

Collegiate defensive back who played football at Georgia Southern University as a senior in 2022. Prior to Georgia Southern, he played college football at Elon University . While there, he played both kick returner as well as cornerback.

He twice earned all-conference honors while at Ardrey Kell High School. He was also a member of the National Honor Society.

As a sophomore at Elon, he scored a 96-yard kickoff return touchdown, which was the first return scored by the program in over a decade. He finished the season averaging 26.1 yards per game, which was top 10 in his conference.

He grew up living with his family in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is one of three siblings.
