ABOUT MARK DEVER
American Calvinist preacher and author who became the senior pastor of the Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. He is also the president of a Christian ministry he co-founded called 9Marks.
He earned a bachelor of arts degree and graduated magna cum laude from Duke University.
He has authored more than 15 books including 2012's The Church: The Gospel Made Visible and 2016's Discipling: How to Help Others Follow Jesus.
His wife's name is Connie. He has a daughter named Annie and a son named Nathan.
He has appeared at the Shepherd's Conference which was organized by John F. MacArthur .
