ABOUT MARK EDEN
Actor who gained widespread acclaim for his role as villain Allen Bradley on popular British soap Coronation Street between 1986 and 1989. He guest starred on a litany of popular British TV shows, including Doctor Who in 1964 and Doctors in 2006.
He began his acting career on stage at the Royal Court Theatre.
Throughout the 1970s, he played the popular character Inspector Parker in the BBC adaptations of the Lord Peter Wimsey book series by Dorothy L. Sayers . He was seen in the 1977 TV mini-series Jesus of Nazareth.
He passed away in January 2020 due to complications from Alzheimer's disease. He is survived by his third wife, actress Sue Nicholls .
He appeared alongside Peter Sellers and Ian Carmichael in the 1963 satirical film Heavens Above!.
