ABOUT MARK MCKENNA
Actor and singer with a starring role in the 2016 coming-of-age musical comedy Sing Street . He'd go on to star as the titular character on the YouTube series Wayne in 2019.
In auditioning for Sing Street, he performed an acoustic version of The 1975's "Chocolate." His friend had to convince him to audition for the movie.
He and Ferdia Walsh-Peelo filmed themselves performing the Sing Street soundtrack song "Beautiful Sea" on acoustic guitars, and posted the video online. He became the lead singer and guitarist of the band Milk. They released their first album in 2020.
He is from Dublin City, Ireland.
He starred in Sing Street alongside Jack Reynor .
