Mark Mickan

ABOUT MARK MICKAN

Former Australian rules footballer who played for the Brisbane Bears and Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). 
After retiring as a player, he worked as a coach.

He began his senior career with South Australian National Football League club West Adelaide in 1981.

He was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in late 2016.

His sister, Patricia Mickan, played basketball.

He and Dustin Martin both became famous for playing Australian Rules Football.
