ABOUT MARK VELASQUEZ
American photographer who first became known to television audiences as a contestant on the first season of the Bravo reality show Work of Art: The Next Great Artist. He has since gone on to found the risqué photography publication NSFW Magazine.
He was raised in Santa Maria, California. He was an altar boy at St. Mary of the Assumption School and St. Louis de Montfort School.
He published the 80-page photography book Show & Tell in 2010.
His family owns the restaurant Tom's Take-Out.
He was judged by renowned art critic Jerry Saltz on Work of Art: The Next Great Artist.
