He graduated from Ohio State University in 2008. He founded Brave Wilderness in September 2014.

His first TikTok, posted in May 2020, has gained over 100,000 views. He started a YouTube channel called Blue Wilderness where he posted a series trailer in July 2018.

He grew up in Central Ohio.
