ABOUT MARLOES DE VRIES

Dutch illustrator and artist who is known for having worked with several major clients including Flow Magazine, TEDx, Workman Publishers, and Ohh Deer. She shares her recent illustration work through Instagram for her over 120,000 followers.

Her passion for art started at a young age when she started making robots out of common household objects. She studied at the AKI Academy for Visual Arts and later attended a Masterclass in Picture Book Illustration in Spain in 2015.

She has won several awards and honors for her illustration work including an Adobe Creative Jam Award in 2014 and a Drentse Talentprijs Cultuur award in 2015.

She was born and raised in The Netherlands.

She shared a portrait she illustrated of mathematician an Ada Lovelace to her Instagram in October of 2018.
