Professional pitcher that was first signed by the New York Yankees as an international free agent in 2015. He was acquired by the Pittsburgh Pirates via trade in January 2021.

He began his professional career playing for the Yankees' rookie affiliate team the DSL Yankees.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Tampa Bay Rays on August 31, 2020 as a member of the Yankees.

He is a native of Cabimas, Venezuela.

He recorded his first career major league strikeout facing Willy Adames .
