He tried multiple different kinds of YouTube channels before finding one that worked. His popularity saw a spike during his time at university.

Before making songs about Minecraft, he had no previous singing or audio engineering experience.

He was born in Hilversum, The Netherlands. Dutch is his first language, but he speaks and has studied in English for a long time.
