Martin Caidin
ABOUT MARTIN CAIDIN
A prolific author of fiction and nonfiction, he is most recognized for his 1964 novel, Marooned. Over the course of his career, he wrote over fifty books and a thousand magazine articles.
He was born in New York City. Early in his life, he developed an interest in aeronautics and became an expert on the subject.
He claimed to wield the power of telekinesis.
He was married to Dee Dee Caidin. He died in Tallahassee, Florida at the age of sixty-nine.
Actor Gregory Peck starred in the film adaptation of Caidin's book, Marooned.
