ABOUT MARTIN MKRTCHYAN
Armenian pop singer who gained fame in the mid-2000s for his hit singles, "Ays erge qonn e" and "Erani". He is popular on social media for his photos with his family and wife, Hripsime, as well as his newer song releases. He posts to Instagram under the handle martinmkrtchyan, and has gained over 130,000 followers.
He released his first album on October 30, 2011, holding his first solo concert at the Karen Demirchyan Complex to a packed house of more than 13,000 in attendance. He has traveled internationally to perform his music in the US, Russia, France, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Lebanon, and more.
Since the fall of 2023, he has released over 8 hit singles, including "Oror-Shoror" in September 2024 and "Hayi Sirun Achqer" in October 2024. On September 28, 2024, he announced that his son, Leo, would be performing at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Madrid.
He married his wife, Hripsime Hakobyan, in July 2013. They have two children together, Robka and Leo.
