ABOUT MARV WOLFMAN
American comic book writer who created the iconic character of Blade for Marvel Comics and wrote for The New Teen Titans at DC Comics.
He attended New York's High School of Art and Design and was active in fanzines before having his own work published.
He wrote a tie-in novel for Superman Returns which won the 2007 Scribe Award for an Adapted Speculative Fiction Novel.
He was married to Michelle Wolfman, with whom he had one daughter. He later married Noel Watkins.
Wesley Snipes played his character Blade in the film based on the comics.
