She became known for playing Kristin Shepard on the show Dallas in the 1970s. She also appeared in the 2005 film The Legend of Zorro.
She graduated high school at 15 and enrolled in the University of Texas.
She played a key role in the Dallas episode "Who Shot J.R.?" The episode became one of the highest-rated episodes of any show in history.
Her father is actor and singer Bing Crosby .
She starred on Dallas along with Howard Keel , who played Clayton Farlow.
