ABOUT MARY DEL CARMEN SOBRINO

Venezuelan journalist and TV host who started the show Letters From The Heart on Venevisión in 2017. Her career began in 1984 when she hosted What Happens in the World and the news program El Informador until 1991. She hosted Women with History and Men Also for 8 years.

She graduated from Andrés Bello Catholic University with a bachelor's degree in communications.

She has won many awards, including Announcer of the Year, a Rafael Ángel García Award, an Honor of Merit awarded by the Mayor of Sucre, and a Recognition of Journalism from UMA,  among others.

She has two older brothers, Fernando and Enrique.
