ABOUT MARY JO HOUGHTON

The matriarch of the Jenner brood, she is the mother of Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kris Jenner and has appeared alongside her daughter and grandchildren on the show since it's premiere in 2007.

At fifteen, she enrolled in the charms school Fashionality and later became a model. By eighteen, she had married her high school sweetheart. However, two months later, they were divorced.

In 1980, she founded Shannon & Co., a small children's clothing store in La Jolla, California.

She was married to Kris Jenner's father Robert Houghton until 1962. She then married Harry Shannon until his death in 2003. Her grandchildren include fellow reality stars Kim , Kylie , Kendall , Kourtney , Khloe , and Rob Kardashian .

She was the mother-in-law to her daughter Kris' ex-husbands Bruce Jenner, now known as Caitlyn , and Robert Kardashian .
