ABOUT MARY SWEENEY
Film editor and producer who received a 2001 BAFTA award for her editing work on the film, Mulholland Drive, also from 2001.
She worked as an assistant editor on the film Blue Velvet and on the television series Twin Peaks, the cult hit that ran from 1990-1991.
She was an avid equestrienne who belonged to the prestigious Sullivan Canyon Riders Club, which she also headed.
She lived with partner and artistic collaborator David Lynch for several years before marrying him. She and Lynch married and promptly divorced in 2006.
She edited Mulholland Drive, which starred actress Naomi Watts .
