Social media personality and comedian who became popular among the Somali community. She is known for sharing her comical video content with more than 50,000 followers on Instagram.

She originally started on Vine under the hashtag #SomaliVines in the summer of 2013.

She also runs a YouTube vlog called That's So Maryan where she shares fashion and beauty tips.

She was born in San Diego, California, but raised in Minnesota. Her parents divorced when she was 8.

She drew inspiration from watching Yousef Erakat's YouTube channel.
