Professional pitcher who was drafted by the San Diego Padres during the third round of the 2016 MLB Draft. He was acquired by the Washington Nationals via trade in July 2021.

He began his professional career playing for the Padres' rookie affiliate team, the AZL Padres.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Los Angeles Dodgers on June 22, 2021. He is a large man, standing at six feet, six inches tall and weighing close to 250 pounds.
