ABOUT MATHILDE FROUSTEY
Professional ballet dancer who rose to fame as a principal dancer of the San Francisco Ballet. Prior to becoming a member of the San Fransisco Ballet she performed as a soloist of the Paris Opera Ballet.
She first started training in ballet at the age of 9 to assist with back problems that she developed in her childhood.
She received a gold medal at the 2004 Varna International Ballet Competition.
She is originally from Bordeaux, France.
Both she and Maria Kochetkova performed as principle dancers with the San Francisco Ballet.
