ABOUT MATT EBERFLUS
American football coach who is best recognized as the head coach for the Chicago Bears of the NFL. He began coaching them in 2022, his first time ever working as head coach. From 2018 to 2021, he served as the defensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts .
In 1988, he graduated from Whitmer High School in Toledo, Ohio, where he helped lead the team to the state semifinals in 1987.
He previously worked as the linebacker coach for the Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys and has also coached at Toledo and Missouri.
He and his wife, Kelly, have two daughters.
He was voted 2018 Assistant Coach of the Year by NBC Sports' Peter T King after his impressive 2018 campaign.
