Matt Grzelcyk
ABOUT MATT GRZELCYK
American hockey player who was picked by the Boston Bruins in the third round of the 2012 NHL Draft. He came out of Boston University, where he was the top-scoring defenseman during his freshman year.
He grew up in Massachusetts and skated for Belmont Hill High School in the Boston suburb of Belmont.
He won gold at the 2012 World Junior Championship as a member of the U.S. Under-18 squad.
He has three older siblings.
He and Malcolm Subban were both drafted by the Bruins in 2012.
